In a small group format (5 participants per 1 coach) led by our certified and vetted coaches, youth will learn:
- Foundational Skills and Safety (stance, pushing, rolling, and stopping
- Skatepark Etiquette
- Riding on ramps and basic Skatepark features (dropping in as well as spatial awareness)
- Introduction to fundamental tricks and key skills for further progression and development
All sessions take place at Dalhousie Community Church (5511 Baroc Road NW, Calgary, AB T3A 4R1, Canada). Lessons are offered in packages of 4 or 8 lessons year round, as well as a week of skateboard summer day camps!
Boarding School Lessons and Camps are powered by Skatelife, a Christian non-profit organization committed to reaching and serving youth on their turf in the Canadian skateboarding community for over 30 years.
